Yvonne has held several shadow ministerial posts including Defence, Education, Transport and Local Government briefs. She was also an Opposition Whip.
Yvonne is a current member of the Panel of Chairs, Committee on Standards and Committee of Privileges Committee and in March 2022 was appointed Trade Envoy to Tunisia and Libya.
